The Arduino Piano Board Is Music to the Ears!

If you were a fan of the 90’s Computer Audio of the OPL2 Audio Board, then you’ll want to check out this awesome new product, the Arduino Piano Board, from Cheerful Electronic!

The Arduino Piano Board is a small piano keyboard with a buzzer created to be compatible with Arduino. Users can utilize the buzzer on the board in order to play audio, or use the board to control an external synthesizer, such as the OPL2 Audio Board.

Software is included and provides users with easy to read button states and changes. The Piano Board includes thirteen piano keys and three additional keys that you can program with your own functions. The Piano Board ditches tactile buttons in favor of soft push buttons to eliminate any clicking sounds from the buttons.

This product can be ordered fully assembled or in a DIY kit form. For the kit options, each kit includes the PCB and all the parts required to assemble the board. The piano key buttons are colored black and white to emulate the classic keys of a piano. The three user buttons are colored blue. A small instructional booklet is also included with assembly directions, how to connect the board, and where users can find compatible Arduino software.

So, get out there and create your audio masterpiece on the Arduino Piano Board!
