Pico CO2 Sensor Board

It’s great to see more Raspberry Pi Pico related products appearing on Tindie, and this PCB is a great addition if you are interested in monitoring CO2 in your environment.

With a Pico supplying the processing power this board is designed to be used with a Sensirion SCD30 CO2 sensor which can detect a wide range of CO2 levels in atmosphere accurately. For visual feedback there is a slot for a common OLED display to be added which gives detailed information about the parts per million (PPM) of CO2 in the environment as well as other details such as the ambient temperature and the devices current uptime. For a longer range visual feedback system the design incorporates an RGB led fading to green when CO2 is less than 600 PPM and up to red when over 800PPM.

A through hole design means that this board is suitable for most solderers and should be straightforward to assemble. The MicroPython source code or the project is supplied and is well commented and there is an assembly guide and bill of materials over on the product page.
