More on the transition

We’re excited to announce more information about the transition to the new team!

Tindie is now owned by EETree LLC, a Washington state company. The transition is being led by Gongyu Su and a new team with long experience building technical communities and electronics-related platforms. The goal is to invest in Tindie as an independent platform for the global maker and hardware community.

In the last couple of hours, PayPal finally got everything working for Tindie. Purchases and disbursements should be working as normal now. If you have any issues, please reach out and let us know!

We care a great deal about user trust. We will do everything we can to resolve the issues that arise from the handover between the old and new systems. We are grateful for everyone’s patience, and we hope the community will continue to give us the chance to earn that trust. We’re doing our best with our small team to get everything straightened out while providing updates when we have new information to share. Things are moving along, and we’ll have more announcements in the future, which will be posted here and shared across all our social media channels.
